Luxury Lodges in Victoria Falls
The Smoke That Thunders
Victoria Falls is unquestionably one of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders. You’ll understand why when you see it! The enormous Zambezi River spills over a 108-metre high cliff shared by Zambia and Zimbabwe to generate the world’s greatest sheet of cascading water. Are you thinking about going? You certainly should! Here are our two lodges near the falls
Beyond The Falls
The most obvious thing to do is visit the world’s largest waterfall. Yet there is so much more to this small town. Enjoy a sunset canoe paddle on the Zambezi, visit Livingstone Island and swim in the Devil’s Pool. Feeling adventurous, go white water rafting.
Tented Camps In Hwange National Park
Nicknamed “The Land Of Giants”
Home to the Big 5 inside a vast area of sand dunes, rocky hills and grassland expanses. Some 40,000 elephant roam the shallow pans in huge herds. Highly recommended to visit during the dry winter months (May to October) when animals flock to waterholes
Taking Full Advantage Of Hwange
Walk through the bush with your guide in search of predators and prey. Visit pre-colonial rock carvings and ruins at Bumbusi National Monument. Try to identify as many of the 400 bird species as possible, or be one of the few to spot the elusive Serval.
Lake Kariba’s Lodges
Home Of Crocodiles
Located on the Zambezi River, is the world’s largest artificial lake and reservoir. It’s a haven for wildlife and the call of the fish eagle is the background soundtrack
Exploring The Lake
Enjoy sundowners on a sandy beach after visiting a traditional Tonga village. Game drives are done around the private concession of Bumi Hills, and boat cruises into Matusadona National Park’s Ume River are unreal.
Meaning “Call Of The Leopard”
Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is rich in geological diversity, including sandstone outcrops, mopane woodlands, and massive baobab trees. As a private trust, it is never crowded, making it a really personal experience. Home to over 100 rock art sites dating back thousands of years can be found here.
Exploring The Lake
The reserve is home to an abundance of species, including the Big 5, the endangered black rhino, the shy African wild dog, zebra, and herds of up to 500 buffalo.
